Astronomy research success at UCLan

The astrophysics research at UCLan has come out well from the recent government assessment, with a large fraction of our work judged to be of international standing.

The Research Assessment Exercise is an enormous process in which the work of over 52,000 researchers across the United Kingdom was assessed by peer review, alongside a review of the regard in which they are held within their research community.
