Student Prizes 2016/17

Each year the students with the best performance in the Entry Level modules and in the BSc (Hons) Astronomy are nominated for a prize.

This year we have a record number of Honours Graduates, ten in all. Congratulations to them all.

The BSc (Hons) Astronomy Prize is awarded jointly to:

Rudi Ganss from Germany with an APM of 84%.

David Glass from the UK with an APM of 84%.

We are delighted to announce the following module prize winners:

AA1051 Introduction to Astronomy: Philip Buley from the UK with mark of 92%.

AA1053 Introduction to Cosmology: Hermann Schobesberger from Austria with mark of 87%.

AA1059 Introduction to Astrobiology: Jerome Remy from the Netherlands with a mark of 93%.
